wPedia is an iPhone application which is fast and organized interface to Wikipedia, which can work online or offline, with internal database of 1.2 million Wikipedia articles, which can be browsed anywhere even while not having available internet connection.

  • Comes with internal database of introductory text of 1.2 million Wikipedia articles which can be read while offline.
  • Hierarchical view of sections up to 3 levels.
  • Auto saving articles including images in the cache for viewing while offline.
  • Articles caching limit can range from 0.5 GB to 5 GB, adjustable through the iPhone Settings.
  • View in Text only mode or in full view with Images mode.
  • 6 Taps of views of different articles.
  • Can work online or offline. While offline it will show you all the automaticly saved articles in the cache or the ones existing from the internal database.
  • Will hide Searchbar and Toolbar automatically while scrolling, will show again when clicking anywhere.
  • Works in portrait and landscape modes
  • Random button to get a list of 100 random articles from the internal DB.
  • Shows live list of near match words from internal DB, while typing in the Searchbar.
  • Automatically saves tap view history, and when you reopen the applications, it shows the last article you have viewed.
  • In page searching.
  • Next and Previous links at the end of each article page to browse articles in the cache.
  • In app view of external links.
  • Ability to edit articles by clicking on article URL at the end of the page, then click on "View this page on regular Wikipedia" link.
